Twelve questions and one answer

These are some of my thoughts after my first training session at Pure Fitness:

  1. When would I do a chin up in real life?
  2. Whose idea was it to put all those mirrors up?
  3. Since I didn’t use any weights of any kind, why are 90% of my muscles either still quivering or in complete spasm?
  4. Is there anyone who actually likes lunges of any sort?
  5. How can muscles that I don’t have hurt?
  6. Was the plank, with all of its variations, originally used in medieval dungeons?
  7. Why does 20 seconds on their clock seem like 40 on mine?
  8. Why can’t Amy and Blake look the other way more often?
  9. Why did I think that I was in pretty good shape?
  10. Didn’t anyone look at my birth certificate?
  11. How long till my next massage appointment?
  12. Is this what I really thought this training program was going to be like, and am I really enjoying this?
The answer to the last question is yes and yes, because that’s PureJohn.
