Injured Worker Program
When your employee sustains a workplace injury, every delay in the process of getting treatment is a loss of productivity for the employer and the employee. Not treating this injury immediately and effectively can make insurance premiums go up. There is even a danger that an injury can become chronic.
For a small monthly subscription fee, we ensure your employees are assessed, treated and return to work as quickly and as safely as possible.
When an injury in the workplace occurs, the employee is connected to Pure Lifestyle and we immediately step into action.
We act as a single point of contact between the worker, the employer, the insurance provider, and all members of the healthcare team.
We ensure the employee is assessed and treated within 24 hours of being contacted – minimizing unnecessary disability, and time loss and making your life easier.
Return to Work Program
With over 12 years of experience in delivering care to work-related and accident-related intensive return to work programming, our team will get your employees back to work safely (with more energy and motivation).
Functional Capacity Screening
When you need a more in-depth understanding of your employee’s job demands, connect with us to assess essential functions and tasks of their job without risk of re-injury.
Independent Medical Examination
We provide independent medical, psychiatric, functional, and allied health examinations.
These evaluations are performed by experienced evaluators not involved in the care of the examinee (non-treating medical exams) for clarifying clinical, case, and or, claims related Medicolegal issues including Scientific Causation analysis, work capacity, return to work, the maximum degree of medical improvement, impairment and disability assessments, etc. Evaluations are often used to provide a more objective understanding of the residual impact of an injury or illness.
Behavioural Activation Programs
Physical activity has consistently been shown to be associated with improved physical health, life satisfaction, cognitive functioning, and psychological well-being. Studies have shown that as an adjunctive treatment, exercise can be an effective and cost-efficient alternative or adjunct treatment for a variety of depression and anxiety related disorders.
Our physiotherapists and certified exercise physiologists work directly with insurance companies to help employees who are dealing with mental health struggles optimize function, mood and independence, with the goal of helping them re-enter the workplace.
