Independent Medical Examination
We provide independent medical, psychiatric, functional, and allied health examinations.
These evaluations are performed by experienced evaluators not involved in the care of the examinee (non-treating medical exams) for clarifying clinical, case, and or, claims related Medicolegal issues including Scientific Causation analysis, work capacity, return to work, the maximum degree of medical improvement, impairment and disability assessments, etc. Evaluations are often used to provide a more objective understanding of the residual impact of an injury or illness.

Behavioural Activation Programs
Physical activity has consistently been shown to be associated with improved physical health, life satisfaction, cognitive functioning, and psychological well-being. Studies have shown that as an adjunctive treatment, exercise can be an effective and cost-efficient alternative or adjunct treatment for a variety of depression and anxiety related disorders.
Our physiotherapists and certified exercise physiologists work directly with insurance companies to help employees who are dealing with mental health struggles optimize function, mood and independence, with the goal of helping them re-enter the workplace.
