Quinn took a relatively circuitous route to becoming a physiotherapist. As a business student at UBC, he spent most of his days dreaming of playing ultimate, his first true athletic passion. Quinn has had an accomplished ultimate career, playing for junior team Canada and a variety of national caliber teams at the junior, university, and club level, including Winnipeg’s General Strike.

When Quinn realized that his future did not involve sitting behind a desk, he chose to forgo law school and instead direct his energy towards studying human movement. Quinn became a respected CrossFit and Olympic weightlifting coach, and graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Master of Physical Therapy in 2016.

Quinn’s energy and passion for teaching allow him to fit right in with the established team at Pure Lifestyle. He continues to pursue further education in manual therapy and advanced exercise progression, and is an active member of the Sport Physiotherapy Manitoba executive committee.

Quinn strives to practice what he preaches, and when not treating clients he can be found practicing the movements he prescribes. Outside of the gym, he enjoys exploring parks and trails around the province, spending time with family, and coaching weightlifters at local competitions.
