Michelle completed her Bachelor of Science in Human Nutritional Sciences degree from the University of Manitoba in 2014 and is a Registered Dietitian with the College of Dietitians of Manitoba. She furthered her education and received a Master of Science degree in 2018 with a focus in sport nutrition. She holds memberships and actively participates on the Manitoba Sport Nutrition Network (current tri-chair) and the Dietitians of Canada Sport Nutrition Network.

Since receiving her B.Sc., she has worked as a sport nutritionist in private practice and has experience providing nutrition education to athletes from grass roots to elite level sports. She also has a strong foundation of knowledge relating to medical nutrition therapies and weight management and currently works part time as a chronic disease dietitian.

Michelle’s passion for nutritional sciences evolved from her involvement in competitive sports, both as a player and a coach and recognizes how dietary intake can either impair or improve performance. Michelle believes that there is no “one size fits all” approach to nutrition plans and focuses on both the health and performance of the client as each client has specific needs to live to their fullest potential.
